ScratchWorks is a personal chef service by Giovanni Parlato serving the tri-state area. The concept is easy; make great tasting food from scratch using nothing but the best ingredients available. Whether it’s a dinner party, or prepared ready to go meals, Chef Parlato will discuss with you personally to see that you will get exactly what you want.

The Food

Less is more. The food Chef Parlato makes is simple, yet delicious. Growing up in a large Italian family, and owning a very successful Italian restaurant (La Cambusa) with his brother and father that still continues strong to this day, Parlato’s style of cooking is heavily influenced by his family’s hometown on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. However, over the course of many years in the kitchen, coupled with a degree in culinary arts, Parlato has acquired a versatile set of skills to bring you some of the finest food around.
